Policies

  1.  All classes are to run consecutively excluding our scheduled Christmas break.
  2.  Our studio will close to observe holidays including, but not limited to, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Easter Sunday and Victoria Day. These classes will not be prorated or discounted, however, students are encouraged to attend another class throughout our schedule to make up for the missed time.
  3.  Upon registration you are automatically enrolled for our full calendar year, September-May. To officially withdraw from the studio we will need written notification through email. Please note that you will continue to be charged for classes unless we are notified.
  4. All payments are non-refundable unless accompanied by a physician’s note.
  5. Fees are payable at the start of each term. Students will not be permitted to continue into the next term until previous outstanding accounts are paid in full.
  6. Due to the highly contagious nature of the COVID-19 virus, students will be participating at their own risk. Fusion Dance Studio will not be held legally or financially responsible for anyone who may contract the virus on our premises.
  7. Fusion Dance Studio will not issue refunds for classes that are cancelled due to COVID-19 circumstances. In the event of a government mandated shutdown, classes for that given month will take place virtually or be scheduled at a later date. If circumstances do not allow for virtual classes then a credit will be issued.
  8. To ensure your child will be participating in the year end recital, a $60 non-refundable costume deposit will be due in December and deducted from the final price of the costume. Failure to submit this payment will result in a student’s lack of participation in the recital.
  9. Fees will be charged at the beginning of every month from September to March. April and May fees, as well as the costume remainder, will be charged together in April.
  10. Classes that are cancelled due to inclement weather will not be rescheduled. Students are asked to make up the missed time with another suitable class scheduled later in the week. Notice of closure will be available through email, as well as posted on our social media accounts.
  11. If the teacher is sick she will be replaced by a substitute teacher or the class will be rescheduled. Notification will be given by email or cell phone.
  12. It is advised that friends do not accompany students to observe class. We cannot be responsible for children and teens that are not registered participants of the studio.
  13. Fusion Dance Studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. We will also not be deemed responsible for any theft or damage to cars while parked.
  14. Fusion Dance Studio employees will not be responsible for students once they leave our facility and furthermore require all students who are not in class to be supervised at all times.
  15. If an injury occurs while on the premises, it is understood and agreed that Fusion Dance Studio will not be legally liable or held financially responsible in any way.
  16. Students, parents and legal guardians authorize any representative of Fusion Dance Studio to obtain any medical treatment that may be deemed necessary during an emergency situation where first aid and medical attention is required.
  17. Due to privacy rights, please no videotaping or photography of our classes. This will be strictly enforced.
