Lisa MacDonald

With over 40 years teaching, Lisa’s journey began at The Judy Knee Dance Studio, where she taught for 25 years. She then co-directed The Dance Academy for 15 years before opening LMac Dance Ltd. In 2024.

Lisa is a member of Dance Teachers of Newfoundland, Cecchetti Canada -CICB, and People Dancing UK. She’s holds an Associate Diploma with Cecchetti Canada, an Associate with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, Modern Theatre Faculty, Level 1 Progressing Ballet Technique,  as well as having completed training for Dance with People With Parkinson’s, People Dancing UK.

Lisa’s philosophy is that Dance is more than physical movement — it cultivates inner strength, discipline, and drive. These qualities are the foundation of every class Lisa teaches.
