Please note, no payments will be taken at this point so accounts should be finalized prior to pick up. I ask that parents please keep costumes in good condition so if we are able to use them they will be intact.

The deadline to submit pictures for our slideshow will be June 30th. We are asking for pictures of all our students in their costumes from this year. Thank you so much to those who have already emailed the images!

We are hopeful level 3 continues to go well so we can be back in the studio shortly. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

[April 1, 2020]

We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I would like to update everyone regarding classes and accounts.

As of today we will remain closed for the next month. Those of you who have been charged for April and May will receive a credit on your account for future use.

As soon as the restrictions are lifted I will update about our recital.

Thank you so much for your patience during this trying time. We truly have the best dance family. Take care and we hope to see you all soon!

[March 17, 2020]

We have made the heartbreaking (but necessary) decision to close and further monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time we will pause for a 2 week break and further assess the situation on March 30th.

Tickets for our recital will NOT go on sale on Friday, March 20th as planned. I will be in constant contact with the centre and will advise once we know more. Costume week will also be postponed until a date in early April and not next week as initially planned. Accounts are being charged for March and the costume remainder but not term 4. Those students who have paid for term 4 in its entirety (prior to the announcement of schools closing) will be given a refund or credit if we do not reopen. Accounts will be adjusted as needed after this 2 week period. Questions and concerns can be emailed to Jaime at fusiondancestudio@live.ca.
Our new year end will be moved to June 4th in light of the current 2 week break.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely. Thank you for being part of our dance family and for your continued support during this trying time. We are hopeful that business will return to normal in the near future. Thank you so much for your patience. Stay healthy and stay safe!

[March 15, 2020]

We hope everyone is doing well during this time of uncertainty. We will keep you updated as we know more regarding classes, ticket sales, invoicing, costumes and recital.

As of now, regular classes will continue as planned as long as schools remain open. Once the school board closes then we will follow suit. We have suspended all extra rehearsals and birthday parties to limit the number of people passing through our doors. For those students who will not be in class this week and would like to have a video of the routine or a copy of the edited song please email us and we will have one sent to you.

I will post an update regarding ticket sales as soon as we are in contact with the Arts and Culture Centre. I am assuming they will be suspended as well but I will confirm once contact has been made.

Credit cards on file will be processed as of tomorrow. If we happen to close (for any given reason) classes will be added on to our year end (May 21st) or if it’s an extended period of time then a credit/refund will be issued. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at fusiondancestudio@live.ca.

Costume week is scheduled to begin Monday, March 23rd unless otherwise noted. Costumes will be available during your regular class time only. Please be prompt when picking them up as we are not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

Our recital is still planned for April 20th-23rd. We are hopeful the suspension will be lifted by this point. If it is not, a new date and (possible) location will be announced once the government lifts the restriction and announces it is safe.

We hope this information clarifies the general questions you may have. If you have any further questions please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. We are hopeful this situation will be resolved in the near future. Take care everyone!

[March 13th, 2020]

As we continue to monitor the Coronavirus situation very closely, we are proceeding as planned with recital preparations. The health and well-being of our members and staff is of highest priority. We will be watching the CDC as well as Health Canada closely, monitoring information and protocols as they are updated.

Hygiene standards for our staff and facility have always been a top priority. However, as the situation evolves, we have taken additional measures to ensure we are providing the safest environment as possible. Enhanced safety measures include regular disinfecting of all high-touch areas, an amped up deep clean schedule, modified class plans, as well as hand sanitizer/wipes available to our students before the start of class. As a precautionary measure, our play area will be modified. We strongly encourage those who are feeling under the weather (especially with a cough and high fever) to please refrain from attending class. To control the amount of people passing through our studio, we kindly ask to limit the people in our waiting area to one person or none at all if applicable.

At this time, our classes will proceed as planned. We will continue to monitor the situation, and will follow any mandatory actions issued by the government.

Thank you so much for your attention to this matter.
